PSV will have several million left over from the sale of Mohamed Ihattaren to Juventus. Italian media talked about an amount of five to six million euros, but that is not correct according to PSV watcher Rik Elfrink. The journalist of the Eindhovens Dagblad reports that the Eredivisie club has negotiated a resale percentage that is higher than normal, allowing Ihattaren to generate even more for PSV in the future.

Just before the closing of the transfer window, Ihattaren made the switch to Juventus, where he has a contract until mid-2025 and that has immediately leased him to Sampdoria. “I am very happy to be here,” Ihattaren said in an interview on Sampdoria’s website. “I want to show the fans what I can do, win a lot of games, play good football and show everyone who Mohamed is. I hope we have a good season together.”

“I am a technical player with a good shot and a good pass. I see the game and see the game quickly, that’s one of my weapons,” Ihattaren introduces himself. He had already said goodbye to PSV on Instagram on Monday. “Through this way I want to thank everyone who has supported me with soul and bliss in recent years,” said the nineteen-year-old midfielder. “We have gone through both good and challenging times together. I will take everything I have learned with me and continue my journey in Italy.”

It is as yet unknown when Ihattaren will make his debut for Sampdoria. After the international match, the club from the Serie A will play against reigning champions Internazionale on September 12. The game against Juventus in Turin is scheduled for September 26.
