Mitchel Bakker misbehaved on Saturday evening after the league match of Paris Saint-Germain in and against Dijon (0-4), so assures L’Équipe. The French sports newspaper claims that the left back is absolutely not satisfied with his current role under trainer Mauricio Pochettino and he behaved accordingly last Saturday.

Bakker did not come within the lines in the game and then had to perform some running forms with all other players who had played little or not. Soon, according to L’Équipe clearly he didn’t feel like it. “He quickly finished the instructions of the physical trainers,” the article says. Bakker kicked some billboards and walked towards the dressing room

Layvin Kurzawa, his competitor, tried to get Bakker to return, but the Dutchman was unable to talk. A few minutes later, the former Ajax player returned and apologized. Bakker probably thought he would play because Kurzawa got a break from Pochettino, but it was Abdou Diallo who was allowed to cover the left side of the defense.

Under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel, Bakker surprisingly developed into a basic force of PSG, partly because Kurzawa and Juan Bernat were missing due to injuries. The German got his congé in December and was succeeded by Pochettino, who makes different choices. Bakker came within the lines in only seven of the thirteen duels under the Argentinian, including two raids of less than fifteen minutes.
