It is again restless outside the Manchester United stadium. The match against Liverpool, which could not take place a week and a half ago after disturbances around Old Trafford, is scheduled to be made up on Thursday at 9:15 pm. However, the preparation has already been seriously disrupted. On the public road several drivers blocked a bus from Liverpool. The police came to the scene and made sure those cars took off.
According to English media, it seems that the bus in question was not used to transport players to the stadium. The roadblock did take place close to the players’ hotel. Manchester United supporters have also reported to Old Trafford, where they are again demonstrating against the Glazer family, who own the club. Songs would be sung in which Joel Glazer would be killed, fireworks would be set off and some supporters expressed the wish to storm the stadium again. “We’re going on the pitch, again”, they say.
