Fenerbahçe booked a convincing victory in the Turkish Süper Lig on Sunday evening. The team of trainer Jorge Jesus won 5-0 at home against Alanyaspor. With the win, Fenerbahçe climbs to sixth place and only has to tolerate Istanbul Basaksehir on the basis of loss points.

Fenerbahçe immediately made his intentions clear by looking for the opening goal from the first whistle. A mistake by Leroy Fer ultimately led to the home side’s early goal. The midfielder suffered a sloppy loss of possession in his own half, after which Diego Rossi was brought into position with some fortune. The Italian pushed in coolly in the bottom right corner: 1-0.
