The lineups of Internazionale and AC Milan are known. Inter-trainer Simone Inzaghi defends a 0-2 lead with his team and Denzel Dumfries once again has a basic place in the return. Rafael Leão returns to the base for Milan. The right back of Inter and the left winger of Milan are therefore opposite each other. The match starts at 9 p.m. and can be viewed on RTL 7 and Ziggo Sports Select.

André Onana defends Inter’s goal. The Cameroonian envisions the trio Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni, which means that Stefan de Vrij is a substitute. Dumfries covers the right, while Federico Dimarco does the same on the left. Between them are Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolò Barella. Lautaro Martínez and Edin Dzeko are the strikers.

At Milan, coach Stefano Pioli has unsurprisingly chosen Mike Maignan between the posts. The defense, from right to left, consists of Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernández. Sandro Tonali is in midfield next to Rade Krunic. The latter replaces the injured Ismaël Bennacer. Junior Messias, Brahim Díaz, Leão and Olivier Giroud must provide the much needed goals.

Inter has been doing great in recent weeks, which has won its last seven matches in all competitions. With that, Inzaghi’s team has recovered well from the previous series of nine games, in which it only managed to win once. After the 0-2 win over Milan, Inter has its first Champions League final since 2010 up for grabs. At the time, the team of then coach José Mourinho won 0-2 against Bayern Munich thanks to a double by Diego Milito. If Inter succeeds in winning against Milan again on Tuesday evening, it will do so for the fourth time this season. Only succeeded in the 1973/74 season in Nerazzurri that rather. At the time, they won twice in Serie A and Coppa Italia.

Milan had a week to forget quickly. Not only was the game against Inter lost, they were also lost in Rossoneri Saturday in Serie A with 2-0 down at Spezia. The loss of the injured Leão made itself felt in those matches, but the Portuguese got fit in time to play against Inter. A huge stroke of luck, as the left winger has already scored thirteen goals and thirteen assists in all competitions this season. Unlike Leão, Bennacer is not there. The Algerian sustained a cruciate ligament injury against Inter and will be out for at least six months. Milan has not won ten away games in the knockout phase of the Champions League since the 2006/07 season.

Internazionale line-up: Onana; Dumfries, Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni, Dimarco; Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan; Lautaro Martinez, Dzeko.

Lineup AC Milan: Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, T. Hernández; Tonali, Diaz, Krunic; Messiah, Giroud, Leão.
