Mohammed Kudus is high on Arsenal’s wish list, reports journalist David Ornstein The Athletic. The 22-year-old Ghanaian, who is still committed to Ajax until mid-2025, would be one of the four dream summer purchases of the Gunners. According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are also interested in the left leg. Previously reported The Athletic all that Ajax requires at least 45 million euros for the seasoning.

In conversation with Caught Offside Romano hinted on Thursday evening that Erik ten Hag would still be happy to welcome Kudus to United. The Italian journalist expects the midfielder to leave Amsterdam next summer. At the moment there is nothing concrete yet, although that could change soon. Especially now that with Arsenal there is also a second club with far-reaching interest.

According to Ornstein, a journalist at the usually reliable, Arsenal has The Athletic, a list of four dream candidates who should come to the Emirates Stadium this summer. The Londoners especially want to give the midfield a boost. Moisés Caicedo (Brighton & Hove Albion) or Declan Rice (West Ham United) will fill the role of controller, while Mason Mount (Chelsea) or Kudus (Ajax) will see the perfect ‘8’. Captain Martin Ødegaard would then complete the dream midfield.

Kudus has been playing for Ajax since 2020, which took over the Ghanaian from FC Nordsjaelland for nine million euros. Since then, the 21-time international has won the national championship twice with the Amsterdam club. On Sunday, Kudus, who will most likely return from his injury against PSV, can seize his second TOTO KNVB Cup. Kudus has played eighty games for Ajax so far, in which he scored 23 goals and nine assists.
