Marko Pjaca will leave Juventus on a rental basis for the fifth time. La Vecchia Signora announces through the official channels that 26-year-old winger will play for Torino next season. According to various Italian media, Torino has negotiated an option to buy worth five to seven million euros to be able to take over Pjaca from Juventus, which will be mandatory for a certain number of matches.

Juventus paid 23 million euros in the summer of 2016 to take over Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb. However, the wing attacker never lived up to the sky-high expectations in Turin. In his first season he made twenty appearances, but in his second year he did not play a single official game. There followed rental periods at Schalke 04 and Fiorentina, after which he returned to Juventus for six months. After having played only one game, he temporarily made the switch to Anderlecht.

Where he got little time to play in almost all his rental periods, the last loan round was relatively successful. In the service of Genoa, Pjaca made 38 official games last season, of which 16 as a starting player and in which he was good for 3 goals and 2 assists. Pjaca is now temporarily making the switch to Torino, last season when the number seventeen of the Serie A narrowly escapes relegation. Torino has negotiated an option to buy, which is reportedly mandatory after a certain number of Pjaca matches played.
