José Mourinho got into a fight with owner Claudio Lotito of Lazio after the match between Lazio and AS Roma (1-0), Italian media report. The 60-year-old Portuguese was suspended and watched the game from the team bus, but afterwards Mourinho came into the Roma dressing room. There Mourinho got into trouble with Lotito.

Alessio Romagnoli, defender of Lazio, decided to celebrate his party at the dressing room of Roma after the derby win, which caused a stir. Lotito and Mourinho also got involved. “What are you looking at?” he yelled the Special One towards the owner. He didn’t let himself be known and immediately shouted back. “I am the president of Lazio. Who are you? This is my home and you shouldn’t even be here,” Lotito said. Attendees had to prevent escalation.

Mattia Zaccagni scored the only goal of the match in the second half and created happy faces in the blue part of Rome. Luis Alberto, Lazio’s attacking midfielder, already indicated after the game that he does not have a high opinion of Roma. “They better be quiet. Roma was not here to play football, but only to provoke. That happened all the time. They talk a lot, but now they must feel very bad.”

The Special One put things on edge before the duel. For example, the former Chelsea coach couldn’t hide the grin on his face last Thursday after his Roma’s victory over Real Sociedad in the Europa League when he was asked about Lazio’s Conference League elimination against AZ. “It’s a shame that UEFA now has to spend money to move the cup,” he referred to Roma’s overall victory in the Conference League last season.
