A television interview by Romain Giroud, Olivier Giroud’s brother, is going viral. Romain, himself a great French talent in his younger years, says that he has never seen Neymar play football. He also says that he has never personally suffered from the fact that his brother Olivier was not loved for a long time when he played for the national team of France.
Romain Giroud played in the youth of Auxerre and in the past played for the Under 15 and Under 17 of France. He played with big names such as Thierry Henry, David Trezeguet and Nicolas Anelka. “I played as a center back, so the complete opposite of my brother,” Romain said in an interview with So Foot. In the interview, Romain praises Giroud, who regularly finds the net for AC Milan. “There are many good footballers, you have to respect them all. Olivier is a special case. Romain wonders aloud what makes someone a champion or a good footballer.
