Tottenham Hotspur wants to release Jesse Lingard from his hopeless situation at Manchester United. The Daily Star know how to report that The Spurs 33 million for the 27-year-old attacking midfielder, who is still tied up at Old Trafford until mid-2021. Lingard does not appear in the plans of Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the time being and was not even in the match selection on Saturday.

Lingard wasn’t part of Manchester United’s game selection on Saturday afternoon during the first league game of the season with Crystal Palace, which was lost 1-3. The last time he kicked off in the Premier League was at the Red Devils was on January 1, during the 2-0 lost away game against Arsenal. In the meantime, he was allowed to start several times in the Europa League and the FA Cup, while Solskjaer Lingard also gave a handful of raids in the closing stages of the competition. The offensive midfielder was trained by Manchester United and after renting at Leicester City, Birmingham City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Derby County captured a place in the first selection of the Red Devils. So far, he played 207 games for Manchester United, in which he was good for 33 goals and 20 assists.
