Feyenoord enter into a partnership with Disney, Chris Woerts announces Monday evening. Veronica Inside. The Rotterdammers have an ‘exclusive inside-documentary’ recorded for streaming service Disney+. The deal, for which the signatures have yet to be made, will cost three million euros.

Disney will have full access to all areas of Varkenoord’s training complex to give Feyenoord’s supporters a glimpse behind the scenes. The first shots were made at Feyenoord’s opening game against PEC Zwolle (0-2) last Sunday. The first episodes are scheduled to take place before the winter break at Disney+, after which the series will continue.

The agreement was concluded at the intercession of Woerts. As director of Sunderland, the sports marketer already wanted to have a similar series made, but that did not get off the ground at the time. Feyenoord are not the first club to be followed, though. Manchester City have already been followed for exclusive video content, while Amazon Pride are currently making the series. All or Nothing offering to follow Tottenham Hotspur.
