During the break of the match between PSV and Galatasaray, it was restless in the Philips Stadium. It came to a confrontation between supporters of both clubs, according to images that journalist Milan van Dongen posts on Twitter. In the images it seems that angry PSV supporters are running towards Galatasaray supporters. Earlier during the match, they had to be stopped by the PSV bench, Van Dongen writes.
The stadium speaker is asking the fans to remain seated, it can be heard. About 23,000 supporters are present at the game on Wednesday evening. According to journalist Rik Elfrink of the Eindhovens Dagblad ‘The fires seem to have been extinguished’.
