Eden Hazard will fight for his chance at Real Madrid next season, according to Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian coach revealed at the press conference the day before the competition match with Cádiz that Hazard wants to succeed at all costs with the brand new national champion of Spain and therefore does not opt for a summer transfer. The Belgian, who according to marca is on the payroll in Madrid for about thirty million euros a year, is currently almost exclusively a banker under Ancelotti.
The 62-year-old trainer indicated at the press conference that he had Hazard back for the next game, among other things. The attacker was recovering from a fibula injury, which kept him sidelined for about two months. Ancelotti was then asked a question about Hazard’s future at the Royal and had a clear answer ready: “I haven’t talked about this yet because his plan is quite clear. Hazard has not been able to live up to the sky-high expectations since his arrival from Chelsea for 115 million euros in July 2019. The 31-year-old winger was last in action on February 19 los Blancos, when he came in for five minutes against Alavés (3-0 win).
