AZ has its eye on Crysencio Summerville, Fabrizio Romano reports. The twenty-year-old attacker of Leeds United is also in the interest of Nottingham Forest, according to the transfer market expert. However, Leeds prefers to keep Summerville on Elland Road.
AZ is committed to strengthening the vanguard in the coming weeks. Zakaria Aboukhlal is likely to be sold to Toulouse, while Kamal Sowah returned to Club Brugge after his loan spell. The Alkmaarders hope to present Jens Odgaard in the short term, but according to Romano they are also interested in Summerville.

AZ, like Nottingham Forest and many other clubs, would investigate the possibility of taking over the wing attacker from Leeds. The Peacocks however, want to break Summerville’s contract and hope to convince the Dutchman of a longer stay. BILD also reported in January the serious interest of HSV in the youth international of the Dutch.
Summerville made the switch to Leeds United in September 2020, after the right winger did not want to renew his contract with Feyenoord. In his first season in England, Summerville played exclusively for the Leeds Under-23s. Last September it was finally time for his debut in the Premier League: Summerville was allowed to participate for 23 minutes in the away game against Newcastle United (1-1). For the time being, the counter stands at nine official duels on behalf of Leeds, of which all as a substitute.
