PSV is not very concerned for the time being about LA Galaxy’s serious interest in Hirving Lozano, reports Rik Elfrink of the Eindhovens Dagblad. PSV is sticking to an agreement with the 28-year-old Mexican that he will be at the Philips Stadium until mid-2025. After that, a step to Major League Soccer is quite possible.

Fabrizio Romano delivered the exclusive news on Monday that LA Galaxy is seriously in the market for Lozano. The North American club would prefer to add the winger to its selection in 2024, but PSV will not cooperate in this, according to Elfrink.

PSV mapped out a plan with Lozano last summer, Elfrink knows. The Mexican was taken over from Napoli for fifteen million euros and signed until mid-2028, but he is not expected to complete his contract.

Lozano will stay in Eindhoven for at least two seasons, until July 1, 2025. “Afterwards he will (probably) still make the move to the United States,” said the PSV watcher.

“For the time being, that plan remains intact,” says Elfrink.

Lozano has made an excellent start to his second period at PSV. The attacker has already played twelve times for the Eindhoven team this season, scoring five goals and two assists. His highlight this football year was his hat trick against Ajax (5-2 win).
