In the second act, the entertainment value for the neutral spectator increased, although it was a painful spectacle for the Arsenal supporters.
The score was opened in the 55th minute of play. Saint-Maximin sent Joelinton deep down the flank, after which the Brazilian delivered a cross into the mouth of Ramsdale. Even before Wilson could tap in, White had already worked the leather into his own goal: 1-0. The damage continued to mount five minutes before the end of regular time. After a deep pass from Dan Burn, Ramsdale managed to intercept the ball, but with his interception he put the leather at the feet of Bruno Guimarães. The latter then completed in a cool way: 2-0.
