André Silva will definitely continue his career in the Bundesliga. Eintracht Frankfurt and AC Milan reported on Thursday night of the 24-year-old striker to Germany, where he signed a contract until the summer of 2023. The Portuguese international already played for Eintracht on a loan basis last season.

André Silva made the temporary switch to Eintracht for two seasons in the summer of 2019, which also negotiated an option to buy. In the last football season, the Portuguese scored 16 goals in 37 official matches and based on this, the Bundesliga club saw no reason to wait another year for the call option.

“We’ve seen in recent months what André is capable of,” says director Fredi Bobic. “It was not without reason that he was one of the best strikers in the Bundesliga after the corona stop. André is a young attacker who can still fully develop at the age of 24. We are convinced that we can take it to a higher level here in Frankfurt. ”

André Silva became one of the biggest acquisitions ever in AC Milan’s club history in mid – 2017, transferring 38 million euros to FC Porto. In his first time, he regularly got the chance in the Europa League, in which he scored eight times. In Serie A, the striker came no further than two scrambled hits. A season on loan at Sevilla has resulted in eleven goals, but the Spanish club see no point in a final takeover. It is unknown what Eintracht Frankfurt paid for André Silva.
