There has been a lot of talk about the future of Erling Braut Haaland for quite some time. However, the Norwegian top scorer does not seem to be busy with an interim departure from Borussia Dortmund, according to an interview with BILD. The German club has set the asking price for Haaland at 175 million euros and the coveted striker does not think that there are currently European superpowers who want or can put that amount on the table.

There is therefore a good chance that Haaland will be associated with Dortmund for at least another season. “That is primarily due to my contract, which runs here for another three years,” Haaland emphasizes in the interview with the German newspaper. “And besides, I’m having a good time here. Conquering the German Cup also plays an important role, because winning trophies is something I love to do,” the 21-year-old attacker refers to the 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig in the final battle of the DFB-Pokal.

During the agreed period, Haaland has not spoken at all with his agent Mino Raiola about a possible transfer to Chelsea or Manchester City. “Until yesterday (Monday, ed.) I hadn’t spoken to him for a month. So I hope it’s all just rumors, because 175 million euros is a lot of money for one person.” Should Haaland be sold for such an amount, he would be the second most expensive player in the world. Neymar is still in first place, who traded Barcelona for €222 million for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

Haaland will come to Dortmund to play with Donyell Malen, who was on the training field for the first time on Tuesday morning. BVB. The PSV attacker signs a five-year contract in Germany and the Eindhoven team has thirty million euros left over from the sale of the the Dutch international. The total amount surrounding the transfer of Malen can increase by four million euros due to bonuses.
